Took my vehicle to lithia honda of salem oregon with under bumper to bumper and powertrain warranty with transmission jerking(service manager: brent called me advised that software he will take care off but flushing trans. Fluid as per mnfg> known tsb is not and we need to pay.

2017 honda pilot awd - periodically the transmission experiences hard shifting in the lower gears. This occurred when speeding up or slowing down. It continued until i turned off the vehicle and restarted the car. It has happened 3 times in the 3 months. I have not taken the vehicle in to be looked at because it is so un predictable.

The suv shakes, shudders, and rumble upon light acceleration at various speeds, sometimes at 35 mph other times at 66 mph. The experience is similar or exactly like driving over the emergency rumble strip on the side of the road, only you're not. The dealership has refused to admit this problem and fix the issue. At first, i took the car back to the dealership and they explained that the vehicle needed a transmission computer update. It was fine for approximately 3 days and is back to banging gears.
